Biopolymer PS-01 is a polymer polysaccharide produced by microbial fermentation of starch material. It has semi-rigid and has strong thickening ability, resistance to mild and shear resistance.
The characteristics of one, PS-01
(1) unique rheology and pseudoplasticity
The solution of PS-01 is a typical pseudoplastic fluid. The viscosity of the solution is inversely proportional to the shear rate. That is, with the increase of the shear rate, the viscosity of the solution decreases obviously. With the decrease of the shear rate, the viscosity of the solution instantly recovers. The shear rate is zero (stationary), polymer molecules exist in the state, in the high shear rate, polymer structure depolymerization irregular clew like structure makes the viscosity decreases rapidly when the shear rate is removed, again to the molecular structure of polymer solution viscosity, which instantly restore to the maximum. As an additive, it can be endowed with the characteristics of the pseudoplastic fluid of the processed products, and can be easily pumped and perfused, so as to facilitate the mixing of high solid materials.

PS-01 can dissolve in cold water, but the swelling speed is slow. Dissolving by hot water can accelerate the dissolution rate. A regular and stable structure is presented in the aqueous solution. Compared with other polysaccharide solutions, the viscosity of PS-011.0% aqueous solution was lower than that of xanthan gum at 25 C, reaching 1000mPa.s, while xanthan gum viscosity was 1600-1800mPa.s at this concentration.
(3) good thermal stability
PS-01 aqueous solution has good thermal stability and high adaptation temperature. It can last for several months in artificial high salinity formation water at 80 degrees, and its viscosity can maintain over 90 years in seawater. It shows that the apparent viscosity of PS-01 solution is not affected by temperature. The viscosity of the solution will not drop for 15 minutes at 121 degrees, and this high temperature resistance will play a very important role in oil production and has broad application prospects.
(4) stability of acid and alkali
PS-01 water solution is very stable to acid and alkali, and can be used in both acidic and alkaline conditions. There is no change in viscosity in the range of pH2 to 12, so PS-01 is a good choice for mixtures containing high concentration of acid or alkali.
(5) good salt resistance
The viscosity of PS-01 aqueous solution is basically unchanged in the range of 0~100, 000 (PPM). Therefore, it has good salt tolerance and compatibility with most salts. PS-01 has good compatibility and stability in the presence of various salts. In the presence of high concentration carbohydrates, PS-01 can also maintain a stable thickening system.
(6) there is a wide range of phase solubility and good compatibility
PS-01 has good compatibility with other colloids, which can be compatible with most synthetic or natural thickeners, and the viscosity increases significantly after mixing. For example, when it is used with xanthan gum, it shows a strong synergistic thickening effect, and the resistance to salt and temperature is not affected.

PS-01 solution is placed at room temperature for a month without corruption, and the viscosity is basically stable.
(8) good suspension and emulsification
The PS-01 aqueous solution has the characteristics of pseudoplastic fluid (agitation), and has a good suspension function under static state, and its properties are stable. It can be used as an excellent suspension stabilizer in industrial production. In addition, thickening of PS-01 solution can reduce the incompatibility between oil phase and water phase, thereby emulsifying.

3. The application on the three oil recovery; the oil displacement agent refers to the material injected into the formation from the injection well and flooding the oil to the oil recovery well. Polymer flooding means increasing oil recovery by increasing the sweep volume. The oil displacement agent must cooperate with other oilfield chemicals, such as tracers, profile control agents, water plugging agents, sacrificial agents, flow control agents, etc. When PS-01 is used as an oil displacement agent, the size of the pore throat is not due to the size of the pore throat.
